Celestial Threads: A Cosmic Exploration
Gold shimmers against the backdrop of the cosmos, inspired by the drawings of early astronomers and their mythical interpretations of the universe. I explored how woven fabrics interact with various printing techniques, including block printing, screen printing, disperse dyes, and Procion MX, along with paints applied directly to fabric. I also experimented with special finishes such as suede, puff, and foils, observing how textures respond and transform under each method. This investigation focused on the beauty of nature and its cosmic connections, blending organic patterns with the luster of gold. Each print revealed the unique behavior of the woven fabric, allowing it to reflect the mysteries of the universe.
