Aromatherapy in the Transport

The project with TRANSCAL transportation company focused on the current macro trend of anxiety and distrust in nature. The inspiration point are self-shot microscopic photos of the nature elements being aggressive (bacteria, viruses etc.) and helpful (herbs, food). Collection presents fabric that represent nature being healing through the colour research, tactile sooting, soft texture and smell- all natural yarns were boiled with fresh rosemary and rosemary essential oil for therapeutic, multi-sensory experience. I was offered a placement in the company after the project.

What an image can convey is a soothing rosemary smell a yarn is infused in, calming a traveler when using complementary blankets and pillows in transport environment.

Using honeycomb structures for more cozy blankets and pillows, and more stable structures for upholstery elements.
